Dexter's departure had a lot of impact for me. To prove it, I only got to post this two months after I took over supervising the web team. Once he told his plans to leave, I was sure that it was inevitable but I am sure that I got to delay his departure for a few months. I really missed those times where there was no pressure of being a supervisor and I could really improve the processes of the team.

What he will really miss is the perks he got as a consultant. He will surely miss the accessible cafeteria, the spacious office, some websites his new company blocks, friends and the basketball league he played in. I will not forget the day he bought Sans Rival cake for my birthday. Thanks to him, that cake will forever be cursed by my taste buds.
