My first week of 2006 got underway by attending two live gigs by Folkus/Spirit AD. One was at Quezon City, while the other was at Los Banos. It was a long time since I watched any live band perform.

They sang songs of the 70's and 80's. I'm a music fan who likes listening to any music from any era and I got to download the songs they sang in the concert. Currently the Doobie Brothers, Hall and Oates and Michael McDonald are in heavy rotation on my mp3 player.
In the Quezon City version, the band yanked me from the crowd and yours truly gave a rendition of Michael Buble's "The Way You Look Tonight". It was not the best performance, but I really long for that moment that I get to sing that song with a real jazz band, complete with trumpets and saxophone.
