Take Up Your Cross

Deny self and follow Christ daily - choosing his will over yours, not collecting suffering points.

Speak plainly - no swearing oaths to make people trust you; let your word stand on its own.

Ask, seek, knock means prayer on schedule - not a one-time burst when desperation hits.

Final judge on souls is not your job - pull your own plank before nitpicking someone speck.

When someone hits or insults you, do not hand back the same - break the retaliation loop.

Jesus' opening command: turn from self-rule and trust the good news that the kingdom is at hand.
