• Following Christ is worth it - and Jesus refused bait-and-switch math; count the cost before you claim the tower is half built.
• Level 1: Like checking if you have enough bricks before pouring the foundation - starting without a plan embarrasses everyone when the wall stops mid-air.
• Level 2: Counting cost means naming what obedience will actually cost this season - time, reputation, comfort - not pretending it is free.
• Level 3: Under Free Grace, the gift of eternal life is free - the cost Jesus names is discipleship weight, not a price tag on heaven.
• Level 4: Take Up Your Cross is the daily lane; counting cost is the honest spreadsheet before you swear allegiance on stage.
• Level 5: Fail on Paper First is the garden echo - same move before deploy, before vows, before the public yes.
• Discipleship without cost honesty breeds quitters who thought faith was a mood.
