Discipline = doing what you said you'd do when motivation, mood, or applause aren't there to push you.
Example
A marathon isn't won on race-day adrenaline — it's won on rainy Tuesday runs nobody films. Discipline is loading the dishwasher when I'd rather scroll — same as brushing teeth when you're already late.
