- Not My Will repeats the same surrender in Gethsemane; here the glory of the Father's name is the point before the arrest.
- Under Free Grace, the cross is where the Father's name shines - not where I bargain my way out of cost.
Examples
- I wanted the hard conversation to go away and prayed for an easy out - Jesus prayed for the Father's name to be glorified as the hour arrived.
- Promotion meant more visibility and more criticism; my instinct was self-protection - His prayer aimed glory at the Father, not comfort for Himself.
