Thanksgiving and Trust

Surrender and Intercession

From the Cross

• Father Forgive Them - “Father, forgive them” (Luke 23:34)

  But Jesus was saying, “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.” And they cast lots, dividing up His garments among themselves.Luke 23:34 NASB1995

• Into Your Hands - “Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit” (Luke 23:46)

Matthew and Mark also record Psalm 22:1 on the cross - “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” - a cry of dereliction, not a separate hub note here.
