Love Your Enemies
Love your enemies = bless those who curse you, pray for persecutors - so you reflect the Father who sends rain on just and unjust alike (Matthew 5:44-45).
Jesus overturned the tribal reading of “neighbor.” Loving only people who love you back is ordinary; loving enemies is divine-shaped. Prayer and blessing are the practical handles - not agreement, not pretending harm didn't happen. The Father's free grace toward the unjust (Matthew 5:45) is the pattern: I love enemies because God loved me first.
Extends Free Grace. Contradicts The Golden Rule when I wait for fair treatment before I act.
