Pareto Principle
Pareto principle = most results come from a small slice of work - find the slice, protect it, cut the rest.
Named for Vilfredo Pareto (roughly 80% of results from 20% of effort - the ratio is shorthand, not a law). I use it when my reading list, task board, or note tags all feel equally important: which few actually moved the needle? Double down there; stop polishing the rest. Pairs with Minimum Effective Dose, Signal vs Noise, and Slow Productivity.
