Level 2 - Explain

Spirit-grown restraint, not a merit streak - urge proposes, you decide under pressure.

Level 3 - Use

Close the app and answer when you are not drunk on cortisol - not the snarky reply in the group chat.

Level 4 - Connect

Because autopilot favors the loudest impulse, deliberate selection beats suppression theater.

Level 5 - Create

Extend the same restraint across surfaces - Fruits of the Spirit holds the faith lane; this note is the general skill you can run anywhere.

Examples

• My thumb hovered over a snarky reply in the pickup-line group chat; glad self-control meant closing the app until I was not drunk on cortisol.
• The point guard feels the pull to hero-ball on a bad stretch - self-control is the scripted pass they drilled, not the urge.
