Sunk Cost Fallacy
Sunk cost trap = letting past effort justify future spending - money and time already gone don’t belong in the next decision.
I’ve kept PKM tools, half-finished projects, and note folders alive because “I already put weeks in.” The right question is forward-only: knowing what I know now, would I start this today? If not, cut it - same logic as Active Knowledge Curation and killing a bad Minimum Viable Product. Pairs with First Principles Thinking and There Is No Perfect Solution.
