Thank Father for Revelation

Jesus thanked the Father for hiding truth from the proud and revealing it to little children.

• The seventy-two came back thrilled; Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and thanked the Father - not for His own status, but for who gets let in.
• He names the Father Lord of heaven and earth and praises the upside-down economy: hidden from the wise, revealed to little children.
• Pray for His Own later asks the Father to keep and unify believers; this prayer celebrates that the Father chooses who sees.
• Under Free Grace, I did not crack the code by intellect - the Father revealed what I could not earn.

Examples

• I quoted three commentaries in small group and still missed the point a new believer saw in one verse - Jesus thanked the Father for revealing truth to the humble, not the show-offs.
• My kid asked a simple question about Jesus that stopped me cold - revelation landed through a child while I was performing expertise.
